CLOSED CELL SPRAY FOAM INSULATION
Most building applications call for closed cell insulation. This product provides superior energy efficiency and air infiltration control as a high performance building envelope insulation system. Closed cell SPF is extremely dense, approximately 2 lbs. per square foot and that density is what makes it such an effective insulation. Closed cell typically has an R-value of 6- 7 per inch. Other benefits of closed cell insulation
- Moisture Resistant
- Air Impermeable
- Improves Energy Efficiency
- Eco-Friendly
- Improves Indoor Air Quality
- Non-Deteriorating
- Increased Comfort
- Noise Reduction
- Provides Structural Strength
- Adheres to Structure & Will Not Sag
- Interior & Exterior Applications
- Walls, Attics, Basements & Crawl Spaces
OPEN CELL SPRAY FOAM INSULATION
Delivers high yield while providing advanced air isolation and superior acoustical performance. Open cell SPF is a lower density, nonstructural spray foam insulation, approximately .50 lb. per square foot. Open cell typically has an R-value 3.5- 3.7 per inch. Open cell is permeable to moisture vapor, so it might be necessary to employ an additional moisture barrier when using it. Other benefits of open cell insulation.
- Mold Resistant
- Improves Energy Efficiency
- Eco-Friendly
- Improves Indoor Air Quality
- Non-Deteriorating
- Increased Comfort
- Excellent Sound Barrier
- Affordable Option to Closed Cell
- Adheres to Structure & Will Not Sag
- Interior Applications Only
- Interior Walls, Ceilings & Vented Attics
BENEFITS OF SPRAY FOAM INSULATION
Spray Polyurethane foam insulation (SPF) has the highest R-value per inch on the market. SPF insulation prevents heat loss via conduction, convention, thermal radiation and air infiltration, creating a more comfortable and energy efficient environment for your home or business. It also serves as a moisture barrier which reduces the risk of mold and mildew. Because of spray foams ability to get into nooks and crevices it helps to prevent the intrusion of rodents and pests. Spray foam adheres to both the exterior sheathing and wall studs to enhance the overall structural integrity of a wall assembly, therefore strengthening a building’s “racking system”. Spray foam insulation also accommodates seasonal shifting, it moves with the structure insuring gaps are always covered. No other insulation product on the market is capable of doing all this. Conventional forms of insulation do not shift with the building structure, leaving gaps and allowing air to move throughout the building envelope.

ECO-FRIENDLY
The new generation of spray foam blowing agents meet and exceed the current rigorous regulatory standards for Global Warming Potential. Spray foam insulation is environmentally friendly because it has no global warming potential (GWP), no ozone depletion potential (ODP) and low to no volatile organic compounds (VOCs) depending on the manufacturer, therefore it does not produce smog. The other and more measurable reason to the consumer spray foam insulation is considered to be a green product is it prevents wastage of energy by sealing out air leaks and reducing energy costs.
SPRAY FOAM, A GREAT INVESTMENT!
Spray foam insulation can save you 30-40% on your monthly energy bills when compared to traditional insulation. These immediate savings will only increase through time. The department of energy predicts that energy consumption will increase by 1.5% annually through the upcoming years as the availability of fuel sources decrease. Making your home more energy efficient by installing spray foam insulation can also make your home more attractive to potential buyers. In fact, most buyers list energy efficiency as a prime consideration. Because of nationwide green initiatives, having professionally installed spray foam insulation in your home may qualify you for a federal tax credit. Spray foam insulation is the best option available to save you money while making your home more comfortable and more desirable to future potential buyers.
